Litigation Legal Assistant

Job Description

Bullivant Houser has an opening for a litigation legal assistant for our Portland office, minimum four years of experience. 


Responsibilities include providing support to attorneys working in the casualty litigation practice area as well as being a teammate to support the overall needs of the firm. This position requires exceptional secretarial skills, proficiency with Oregon state and federal court rules/procedures, electronic court filings, and docketing/calendaring rules.  Washington experience a plus.


Candidates must possess a high level of organizational skills, attention to detail, follow through, and strong oral and written communication skills. Exceptional client service orientation, sound judgment, reliability, problem-solving skills, and the ability to remain focused in the midst of dueling priorities are necessary to the position. Strong computer skills and experience functioning in a highly technological and computer-savvy environment are also essential. Proficient with Microsoft Outlook and Word, and NetDocs a plus.
