Bullivant Shareholder Selected for Fellowship in the Litigation Counsel of America

Tuesday, September 24, 2013

Bullivant Houser Bailey PC, a nationally recognized law firm with offices in Washington, Oregon and California, is pleased to announce that trial lawyer Laura Caldera (Taylor) was recently selected for fellowship in the Litigation Counsel of America (LCA).

Taylor represents clients involved in complex business litigation including intellectual property, directors and officers liability, professional malpractice, and securities fraud. She serves on the Internet Committee for the International Trademark Association (INTA), and has served on various INTA committees since 2006. She currently serves on the Board of Directors for the National Conference of Women's Bar Associations and served as president of Oregon Women Lawyers (OWLS) from 2008-2009. She is also a fellow in the American Bar Foundation. Her community and civic work focuses on children, including serving on the Ambassador Board for the Children's Cancer Association.

The LCA is a trial lawyer honorary society whose membership is limited to less than one-half of one percent of American lawyers. Fellowship in the LCA is highly selective and by invitation only; Oregon's LCA Fellow delegation includes only 43 private practice lawyers. Fellows are selected based upon excellence and accomplishment in litigation, both at the trial and appellate levels, and superior ethical reputation. Established as a trial and appellate lawyer honorary society reflecting the American bar in the twenty-first century, the LCA represents the best in law among its membership.
