Bullivant Houser Bailey Announces Election of Three New Shareholders

Bryana L. Blessinger, Megan Cook, and Evelyn "Evie" Winters were elected as shareholders of the firm, effective January 1, 2017. The three new shareholders have served the firm as associates with practices focused on insurance law and casualty litigation. All three are admitted to practice in Oregon and Washington.

Bryana L. Blessinger handles complex first and third party insurance coverage matters including extra-contractual bad faith claims, property loss, directors and officers (D&O), professional negligence, product defect, and crime coverage. Blessinger also defends general tort actions, with an emphasis on property loss, professional malpractice, and employment law claims. She is actively involved in the Defense Research Institute (DRI), including serving as an Editor-in-Chief for The Voice and the Vice-Chair of the Insurance Law Committee's Directors and Officers Substantive Law Group. Blessinger was selected as a "Rising Star" in Oregon Super Lawyers in 2016.
Megan Cook focuses on personal and catastrophic injury litigation. In addition, she has experience in environmental, insurance, business, real estate, and land use law. Cook is actively involved in the Oregon Association of Defense Counsel (OADC), serving as the Chair of the New Lawyers Practice Group. She also serves as the Co-Chair of the Asbestos/Toxic Torts Practice Section Committee of the Washington Defense Trial Lawyers (WDTL). She has been selected as a "Rising Star" in Oregon Super Lawyers since 2015.
Evelyn "Evie" Winters's litigation practice focuses on a variety of commercial and casualty matters, including professional liability defense, business disputes, products liability defense, and wrongful death and catastrophic injury cases. She has represented clients at trial in state and federal courts in Oregon and Washington. Winters has been recognized as a "Rising Star" in Oregon Super Lawyers and Washington Super Lawyers since 2012.
