Mac Brown joins Bullivant's Casualty Law practice representing clients in product liability, toxic tort, and related defense work. In his previous role as Assistant Attorney General for the State of Washington, representing the Department of Labor and Industries, Mac managed all aspects of cases for the department. His role included identifying witnesses, evaluating claims for potential weaknesses and settlement possibilities, scheduling and taking depositions, and the full range of activities required to bring a matter to a successful conclusion. This experience parallels the work he will do as a member of defense teams for Bullivant's clients.
During law school, Mac was on the executive board of the Seattle University Law Review. He served as an executive editor, reviewing and editing lead articles for publication. That work included managing fellow students to whom he assigned editorial work.
Mac interned for U.S. District Court Judge Ronald Leighton and served as a Rule 9 prosecutor for the City of Bothell, Washington. His academic achievements were recognized when he received the CALI Excellence for the Future Award in Legal Writing, Criminal Law, The Modern Corporation, and Administrative Law. He graduated in the top 10 of his class.
