Practice Experience

Jonathan Nichols is a litigation associate in Bullivant's Casualty Law Group. He has experience representing clients in multiple jurisdictions regarding commercial sales and transactions, consumer protection, and product liability. His most notable matter involved a complex construction defect action against a plumbing manufacturer, distributor, and installer.

Before joining private practice, Jonathan served as an Assistant Attorney General in the Washington State Attorney General's Office, where he was a trial attorney managing child welfare cases. He has successfully prepared and tried over a dozen cases in King County and Snohomish County Superior Courts. As an AAG, he also handled briefing and oral argument in Division I of the Washington State Court of Appeals.

During law school, he served as an extern to Judge Ken Schubert in King County Superior Court. He also competed in moot court competitions and served on the Seattle University School of Law Moot Court Board.
